[Woodcarver] collective project

As we have traveled around this country we have seen several collective projects. Some of the most interesting are those that include local history. For example, one club chose a historical period and did a WPA themed project which included the building of the Hoover Dam.  

Is there any local history in your area that could be turned into a collective project? Iowa - I would guess farming might be a local activity - could you create a farm scene during harvesting time?

Oh well, just some thoughts - maybe these will get you thinking.
