Joseph, I use acrylics...and blow dry it. Then I coat with boiled linseed
oil... and towell it off...let sit for an hour or so. I shot it with a can
of satin lacquer. The lacquer dries the oil in it. I usually apply 2 coats..
I try to avoid a sheen. I let it cure for 5 days before I handle to much. It
will feel slighty tacky or even dry but it wont be cured for several days.
