I used iWeb on my Mac to make my site, <www.cedarstump.us> . It is quite easy to use once you use it a bit. I maintained my old websites using html and Dreamweaver, and they were a lot more work than iWeb. You have to adapt your design to the basic pages they offer, but you can do quite a bit of manipulating of their design. Unfortunately, I don't keep the new site up as often as I should.

I have a website that I built using Dreamweaver but I am not happy with it. And I really had to work to get the site up and running. I would like to hear some opinions/guidance/suggestions from other woodcarvers who have successful websites. Did you build and maintain your website yourself? What software did you use, Dreamweaver, Coffeecup, etc? I have a pretty good idea what I want my website to be but haven't figured out how to get there from here. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. And if anyone feels that this is not "carving related" enough, please email me directly at wdcrvr at hotmail.com.
thanks
Jim
