I wanted to use Dreamweaver but like Matt hinted at, the learning curve was too steep for me. So I stuck with what I was familiar with and upgraded from FrontPage to Microsoft Expression Web. It was easy enough for me to learn the basics. You can view my web sites to see what I've done.
I'm no pro, but the response has been positive :-)

I have a website that I built using Dreamweaver but I am not happy with it. And I really had to work to get the site up and running. I would like to hear some opinions/guidance/suggestions from other woodcarvers who have successful websites. Did you build and maintain your website yourself? What software did you use, Dreamweaver, Coffeecup, etc? I have a pretty good idea what I want my website to be but haven't figured out how to get there from here. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. And if anyone feels that this is not "carving related" enough, please email me directly at wdcrvr at hotmail.com.
thanks
Jim
