I have carved bass for many years.when I can I buy from vendors who attend
carving shows. Additionally, I buy from WoodW**dworkers store but not
lately.
Good sources both.

I have done VERY tiny (1/12 real-sized) such as used in dollhouses and
life sized birds and ducks, both need very tiny feather strokes, and bust
sized carvings-faces and birds. Both turned out nicely and will take any
kind of finish I have tried.

Happy carving!!
