Why dont you make your own waterbased stains using either very watered down acrylics or water color paints......this way you can mix up any color you might want

I have been trying to find a place (like home depot) to buy water base stains in certain colors, but it seem's as if nobody carry's water base stains any more.Is there a place I haven't tried; a store; on the Internet; .Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have a few relief carvings that I would like to finish............thank you much for any help ............Irwin Reisman
