Also, if you go to a good paint store, you can pick up universal pigments, which can tint anything. I used them to tint epoxy to match the peach marble sill which had chipped.


I also used them to tint a white pickling stain to match existing cabinet finish in the kitchen.


Each tube will last a lifetime.

Why dont you make your own waterbased stains using either very watered down acrylics or water color paints......this way you can mix up any color you might want

I have been trying to find a place (like home depot) to buy water base stains in certain colors, but it seem's as if nobody carry's water base stains any more.Is there a place I haven't tried; a store; on the Internet; .Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have a few relief carvings that I would like to finish............thank you much for any help ............Irwin Reisman
