[MCR] Joy, Kananaskis Country

[Public Mountain Conditions Report]

Had a few calls into the office here about Joy over the past week.  Up
there today and managed to snap a few pics off before the deluge came
in.  Route looks generally dry with a few snow patches on the descent.

 

Of note, the bears down near upper and lower Kananaskis lake are
abundant right now.  With all the snow still up high seems all the bears
are in the lower elevation valleys and the Conservation Officers down in
this district have been super busy with bear calls.  Bears love to hang
out in the meadows on the descent along this route so heads up hockey
through there if you're headed this way.
