Spent the past few days camping at Cline Lakes and climbing peaks in the area with a group from the Center for Outdoor Education in Nordegg.
The approach up Thompson Creek is well worn and the crossings are all bridged. There is a left hand turn up a steep gravel wash once you leave the creek at about 1750m. This would not be a fun place in the rain as there are many perched boulders in the gravel.
Mt. Cline is in great shape via the normal route and crampons are needed to cross the glacier that gains the ridge.
The camping area is stunning and the peaks have a remote feel to them. A highly recommended trip.
Have fun!
