[MCR] Rockies, Little Crowfoot peak

[Public Mountain Conditions Report]

Skied up from Bow Lake today.  10 to 15 cm of new snow over the old hard
surface with no wind effect all the way to the peak.  The new snow was
getting moist around treeline by 1 pm.  No signs of instability but surface
sluffing would be a concern on sun exposed aspects and if the wind comes up.

 

Excellent ski quality on the glacier and in the moraines all the way to
treeline.
