Thanks.  All the transformers were replaced and all the street lights went
on last Saturday night (except for the pole that was knocked down during the
storm). but Fleur is telling me that this box is similar to a splitter.  The
box is placed underground at your house, where the underground wiring is
coming up to the meter.  The live wire is then used to provide power to the
contractors pole, without turning the juice on to the house.  The way it is
going, as soon as the electrician rewires downstairs, I won't need the box.
They will simply plug the trailer into the house (whether it is a 22O line
from the dryer or a 110 from an outlet, I don't know, but I will have both,
so it won't matter.  It is frustrating to sit and wait for a part they say
they need hundreds of, but are getting 3 or 4 a week.
