The service for cox and bellsouth is being worked on and continues to be
developed.  We have no control over their decision to place service in
different places, but both companies have been requested to provide a map of
service so we can share it with the public.   Keep calling the companies and
requesting service for your area.

Does anywone have any info regarding when Bellsouth will restore service in
St. Bernard?  Violet, in particular.  I have tried calling the 1-800 # but
keep getting transferred. The last representative I spoke with said, "Maybe
August."  She also told me that the folks that are still paying for service
in St. Bernard and not receiving it will be repaired first.  I took a bit of
offense at this as I am still paying Bellsouth for the service I am
receiving in my humble FEMA trailer in Ponchatoula. I would have gladly kept
paying for my Violet# but I sort of needed a phone that I could use. HA!

If anyone has any information, local contact numbers, would you please share
them?  

Also, what about COX?  Are they back in service?
