Jan:

We can always count on you to persuade us to share our recent carving
projects. Thanks for the reminder...

I am still teaching classes four days a week. This keeps me VERY busy.
Currently I have 24 students. We drink copious amounts of strong
coffee.

Then I am finishing up my fourth book titled (tentatively) "Relief
Carving: Revelations"
It will be an eBook... that is a 200 page book entirely on CD in PDF
format, with hi-res images of about 23 step-by-step projects. When it
is available, I will make it known to the List community. The desk top
publishing part of this project is time consuming... but I am getting
speedier at it. Have a new iMac G5 and some good software really helps.

I received a recent commission for a large (36" diameter) crest for a
large School Board in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada. One of my former
carving students landed this commission for me, for which I am ever so
grateful. More on that later.

The weather here has been bitter cold, quite a change from only a week
ago when we had autumn-like weather.

That's about it.
