Sally:
I have a bunch of power carving equipment. A lot of it came from a fellow
that did power carving for many years. He started out not using a dust
collector religiously and now his lungs are ruined to the tune of having to
purge them a couple of times a day with oxygen. He can no longer power
carve at all, even using dust protection and masks.
At any rate, it is the fine dust that does the damage. It the dust is
easily visible it probably won't do the damage that the fine dust will do.
Hope all goes well with your new club.
