hi irwin:

have u tried not cutting the blank completely out
leave at the blank almost cut out but not totally to u
get where u have cut both sides out n when u have
finally cut the two peiced on both sides one side will
be then be cut then go back to the other n cut that
part off now u should have a better lookin cut out..
Also make sure the wood is flat not tilted.
