All,
I have been largely ignoring this whole thread, in fact several of the threads
on this list lately. Between computer troubles and working way too much, both
for my employer and around the house, there hasn't been time to follow
everything. My delete key works fine, I see no need to drop from the list as
some have. This list has been, and should continue to be, about carving, not
how you feel about schools, TV, parenting skills, etc... Yahoo has literally
tens of thousands of lists to join where you can rant and rave all you want
about any subject you can think of.
As someone who's wife struggles daily with teaching music to elementary school
kids, I have to say there is a lot to be said about how the school
administration, the local, state and federal government all issue rules and
regulations, and about the parents who raise some of these delightful children
who can't behave/manage in a classroom setting, plus all the folks who scream
about the money wasted on schools since they don't have any children there
(anymore/never did). To say that I don't agree with some comments and that
there are two sides to every issue will be enough<grin>
For those who want to continue, please find a group at Yahoo to continue
non-carving discussions. To those who want to talk about carving, and how we
become artists, or when, feel free. If I don't want to read it, I know where
the delete key is.......Thanks!!
