Clean and abrade wheel by sanding lightly and then coat with glue (white 
glue or wood glue).  Allow this to become tacky and then roll the wheel 
in the abrasive powder.  To do this, place the powder on a sheet of 
paper so that the unused portion can be recovered.  This powder  is the 
same abrasive that can be obtained from a lapidary shop or similar 
compound used for valves from an automotive supply.  The set of wheels 
should have come with a wax compound or use beeswax .  This wax would be 
added to the abrasive wheel after drying as you would put polishing 
compound on a wheel.  This wax is to work a a lubricant and cooling 
agent with the abrasive wheel when sharpening.
