[Woodcarver] tools

Hi Everyone.  

I too would like to start carving.  What I would like to start with are the
quilt squares I saw on page 64 of this magazine I picked up called Ultimate
Carving Patterns Collection.  It is relief carving with simple straight
lines.  So, what you all recommend for tools and other supplies?
