So whats up....any thoughts. How is carving in your part of the world, dying or thriving. Exactly what is the state of woodcarving in america today ???

You are sooo right Maura carving in general is going down

More people know asbout carving than let say 5 or 7 years ago

and Ones most people KNOW there is no challence and their houses have oodles of carvings in them and as they run out of space ,they also run out of interest My classes are down from 60-65 to 48 that tells me enough

All hobbys go in cycles remember how big Ceramics was and Folk art painting ?? carving will come back but only in its own good time
