Thanks to the list members for all the ideas about creating a seacoast
scene with sand.  I will try some of the ideas and keep them all in mind
as I work on the carvings.
BTW this kind of activity on the list is exactly what I loved about it
when I first joined so long ago and I think we have kind of gotten away
from it.  Jan and Bill, thanks for encouraging discussion about this.
Also I like the idea about offering items for sale.
