Matt,

Although I haven't used one myself I've read as
many reviews as I could find and for a table saw I
can't see any sense in anything but one of the models
of SawStop. What reviews I've seen all say it's good
and what could be better than knowing you aren't
going to cut your hand off if you make a mistake ???
They have a 10 inch model that's gotten very good
reviews.

On other notes without being specific:

a band saw with at least a 20 inch throat,
a minimum 8 inch jointer,
a minimum 14/15 inch planer,
a shaper or large router table,
a performax or similar large drum sander,
some woodworkers benches and at least one
4 foot square table. If possible have a bench
against a south or southwest facing exterior
wall with LARGE windows. Another placed
for access from both sides. All the same
height (approx waist high) and mobile at need.
Retractable wheels on one end would do.
All with dust collection *MUCH* larger than seems
necessary. (If possible with one side of the
"wood processing large tool area" against an
exterior wall so that you can build a (more than
adequate sized) weather tight enclosure OUTSIDE
the shop to house the dust collector with sound
proofing between the enclosure and the shop to
cut down the noise.
